We will forever be indebted to them and this program.

From day one I have had nothing, but positive experiences and I have learned several new things and skills that I never would have thought of that have been helping me with communication with my daughter!” The Care Managers… “have been amazing and supportive and helped our family through the toughest of times. They are special people, and we will forever be indebted to them and this program.

We learned how we could best support him

I am very grateful to Cumberland Gloucester Salem CMO. My son would not have received necessary and life-saving treatment without them. My wife and I had exhausted all of our outpatient options and had been to multiple hospitals and crisis centers. Being able to have thoughtful, knowledgeable people help my son in our home was life-changing. We learned how we could best support him and he learned how to better advocate for himself and heal.

I can see Tommie truly cares

Tommie… “is cool, calm & collective. He gets back to me on everything in a timely manner and sees my vision through. He is great at communicating. If he goes on vacation & someone is covering for him, he will make sure to provide me with the information. Through the grace of God & the support my Tommie, my son is better. I can see Tommie truly cares.”

Optimistic about the future for the first time in years

We have a 19-year-old female youth who was referred to CMO in 2016. This youth and her family originally came to CMO due to challenges with the youth’s aggression and explosive behaviors, both at home and at school. She was also experiencing homicidal and suicidal ideation, as well as crippling anxiety. The youth had been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and Bipolar Disorder, and was Development Disability eligible. This youth has transitioned back home with her mother after being OOH for 4 years! She also attends the Connections program, which is a social skills group at OPC and is doing very well socializing with other youth. She and her mother are now set up with services and are optimistic about the future for the first time in years.

We are so grateful for everything the Camden CMO provided

Our Care Manager was phenomenal for my son. For the past year and half, our son went through various stages of horrible medication side effects, threats of self-harm and injury, grief over losing two dear family members, and difficult OOD school placement. The CMO helped us team with the right supports through a Behavioral Assistant, who was fantastic, and 2 therapists who were both extremely helpful. Our Care Manager met with us and the team regularly to make sure we were doing okay and on the right track. If not for the CMO and our Care Manager’s solid and steady commitment to our son’s well-being and safety, we would not be where we are today. She is the best, and we are so grateful for everything the Camden CMO provided.

Our family has been irrevocably changed in the most positive way

When we first began receiving services, my son was in crisis as many other recipients are. He was struggling with suicidal ideation and aggressive behaviors that often resulted in PESS screenings and police intervention. We began receiving services around the end of March 2023. My children always had prompt assignment of IICs and BAs, when necessary, as well as other necessary evaluations being promptly scheduled and carried out. All these resources proved to be invaluable. Although we are still a work in progress, I am confident we would not be where we are today without the intervention of MonmouthCares and the tireless efforts of our care manager. In closing, our family has been irrevocably changed in the most positive way

I am very grateful for her and everything she has helped me with!

Sydney has been the best addition to my life this past year. I have been struggling a lot the past year and a half with services and just being able to keep my head above water. With the help of Sydney, I have found a great therapist that I feel very comfortable with and a psychiatrist that helps with medication management! I am very grateful for her and everything she has helped me with!

Bergen’s Promise helped his life totally change

Every week I see improvement. This just totally changed my kid’s life. Marcus is much less aggressive, much less anxious, more easy going, and just totally different. Now he follows rules. Bergen’s Promise helped his life totally change.

She highlights my son’s strengths

Alex is amazing. She is very caring, she is a good listener, asks questions, and is positive. She highlights my son’s strengths. If she doesn’t know the answer, she gets her supervisor involved. She is a great care manager.

Megan is a blessing & is so great

Megan is “a blessing & is so great. She communicates so well; I feel like she’s the therapist. When I call her, she always answers or replies back to me quickly. She always keeps me updated with everything. Stay blessed and I’ll miss you.”

I wish I knew of services sooner

I am 100% happy with services! Our Care Manager is personable, works well with my son, and a great advocate. I wish I knew of services sooner.

She listens to our needs

Charlene is “proficient & empathetic. She knows a lot about what she is doing. She listens to our needs. My children like talking to her, she gives them undivided attention. She’s approachable. She doesn’t make us feel rushed.”
